General DescriptionSUNY Niagara has a need for a part-time instructor to teach the new Digital Marketing and Analytics course, which is an interdisciplinary class within the Division of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Classes are held on SUNY Niagara’s main campus in Sanborn, NY. Applicants must be able to attend in-person meetings, professional development, and other obligations on the Sanborn campus.In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, SUNY Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis. Openings may or may not exist at this time. Applications are evaluated on an as-needed basis, and candidates will be contacted when the department has an opening.Typical Work Activities

Teach courses in the delivery format agreed upon (face-to-face, face-to-face with Zoom option, hyflex, hybrid, blended, or online)Hold office hours (in person or virtual as appropriate)Report assessment of student learning outcomes at the conclusion of the termReport grades at the conclusion of the termEssential Functions

Ability to navigate relationships with diverse populations. Must be able to communicate effectively with students, co-workers, supervisors, and the campus community. Must be able to develop, prepare, and present information. Must be able to operate computers, have reliable internet service, and must adjust any teaching to the Americans with Disabilities Act provisions.Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing or related fieldDemonstrated evidence of knowledge and experience (educational and/or professional) in digital marketing including, but not limited to, social media analytics, Google analytics, Search Engine Optimization, customer segmentation, and key performance indicatorsDesirable Qualifications

Master’s degree or terminal degree in Digital Marketing or related areaDemonstrated evidence of knowledge and experience using online and social media platforms for organizational engagement; experience administering integrated media campaignsExperience teaching college-level coursesExperience with instructional technology and teaching in virtual formatsAbout SUNY Niagara
