Placement on the adjunct faculty salary schedule is based upon education and credited experience. Pending any course assignment, initial placement can range as follows: Lab Course - $71.83 up to $105.43 per hour. Lecture Course - $83.63 up to $121.64.The College and the District:

The Colleges seek a part-time faculty member in Fashion Design. The ideal candidate will share the Colleges' commitment to educating a racially and socioeconomically diverse student population.Duties and Responsibilities:Teach FASH 110 - Beginning Clothing Construction. The course description is as follows: Designed to provide an overview of basic sewing techniques, sewing machine skills, and an understanding of fabrics and patterns. The focus is on clothing construction techniques for students with little or no sewing experience.Minimum Qualifications:Any bachelors degree or higher and two years of professional experience

OR

any associate degree and six years of professional experience

OR

the equivalent (see below). The professional experience required must be directly related to this teaching assignment.Ability to work both days and eveningsDemonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staffConditions of Employment:
