We are seeking a
Localization Producer
on a
contract basis
to support our business needs. This role is a
hybrid setup with 2 days remote and 3 days onsite in Cupertino, CA.Responsible for producing App Store localized content with limited supervision. Role requires native level expertise in at least one language in addition to English.Localization experience and project management ability is essential. The Localization Project Manager (LPM) is expected to work closely with vendors to outline expectations. The LPM will work with other LPMs and vendors to ensure that localization projects are on track, relevant to the audience, and represent the company's voice in the marketplace. The LPM will manage the input of localized data into multiple internal and vendor systems without error. The successful candidate must be highly detail-oriented and be able to judge and manage linguistic issues for 39 languages and all covered territories.Localization QA experience is required, and software QA experience is preferred.Must-haves
BA degree or equivalentLinguistic skill in a language other than English; excellent English communication skillsProduction experience; localization production preferredExperience in methods of automating workflow a plusExcellent verbal communication and written communication skillsLocalization QA experienceMust possess a solid understanding of online production processes and a passion for meeting the needs of international customersApp-related media experience in the international marketplace highly desirable; music, TV, Movies – media-related experience a plusMust possess the desire to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment; this role requires flexibility, the ability to wisely prioritize tasks, and rapidly apply keen judgment to complex situationsPerks are available through our 3rd Party Employer of Record
