We have partnered with our client in their search for a Junior Visual DesignerResponsibilitiesCollaborate with senior designers to conceptualize, design and produce print and digital designs that align with brand guidelinesPerform multiple design edits based on brand guidelines, art direction, and client feedbackCreate template-based materialsSource stock photographyPerform retouching, color correction, and collect for outputCreate interactive PDF formsCreate storyboards for video and animation projectsOptimize image and video assets for digital and social platformsPhotograph internal eventsAccurately apply design strategies to support and strengthen key messagesSkills RequiredProven expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Acrobat. As well as creating assets in Microsoft Office - Outlook (OTF), PowerPoint etc.Thorough knowledge of visual design principles, including graphic design, layout, typography, color, and corporate identityExperience in designing for advertising, collateral development, events, websites, presentations, recruiting, social media, templates, and environmental designExperience in designing impactful creative for social media channels, primarily for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and InstagramHigh verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate and present creative ideas and concepts convincinglyStrong project management, organizational, and time-management skillsUnderstanding of print and digital production and workflowSelf-starter with the ability to work independently, yet still take creative directionAbility to thrive in a high-paced, team-oriented work environment under tight deadlinesPhotography, UX, and Email Design experience a plusEducation & Work ExperienceBachelor's degree in a discipline-related field with 1-3 years of experience or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experienceStrong design portfolioTitle: Junior Visual DesignerLocation: New York, NY - 2 days in the office in NYC (Mon/Wed)Client: Financial Services
