It’s no wonder our business and our team are growing.What you’ll do:Apply instructional design theories and models to set learning objectives, defineAZ measurements of success, and create content for technical and professional development training initiativesCollaborate with business units and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design training programs aligned with competencies, technical needs and strategic learning opportunitiesDevelop instructional materials including e-learning content, interactive workshops, facilitation guides, resource materials, exercises, assessments, and multimedia contentProject management of multiple learning projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scopeBuild assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning outcomesAnalyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional designMaintain, update, and enhance training programsSupport the maintenance of the Learning Management SystemWhat you bring:2-5 years experience in Instructional DesignAssociates degree or higherPrior AEC experience strongly preferredExperience implementing competency framework modelExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenExperience with designing learning programs preferably for online and blended learning programsStrong writing skills in instructional text, audio and video scriptsProficiency in e-learning development software (e.g. Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline)Audio/Video production and editing a plus (Camtasia, Premier Pro, Vyond etc.)Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design toolsExperience with Learning Management SystemsSelf-starter attitude that thrives on challenging the status quoAbility to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environmentAbility to work independently and creatively.VacationPaid HolidaysMedical InsuranceVision Insurance401KLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceAccessibility: If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process please contact Human Resources atEmail: Careers@polkmechanical.com
