The campus enjoys incredible vistas of the Smoky Mountains and the Cumberland Plateau with views that span across several states. The region is widely known as an outdoor recreational paradise for campers, boaters, cyclists, climbers, cavers and hikers, all this while being conveniently located within two hours of Atlanta, Nashville and Knoxville.

Summary:

The digital marketing coordinator position reports to the digital campaign manager. Using a variety of integrated inbound and outbound digital marketing strategies, they will assist in increasing the college's visibility to key audiences through the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, across multiple platforms.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Assist in executing lead generation campaigns, including PPC marketing, programmatic, paid social media (Meta, Spotify, YouTube, Google, etc).

Implement marketing and recruitment strategies for target audiences based on standard market research data results.

Implement written and visual/multimedia content for digital marketing campaigns.

Assist in creating email and SMS campaigns in our CRM.

Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with the analytics and tracking of all marketing campaigns using FB Ads Manager, Google Analytics, etc.

Update and maintain information used by key lead generation vendors including delivery of advertising assets as needed.

Provide outstanding customer service to the College and its departments and professionally represent Covenant College in all business interactions and settings.

Participate in committees and other forums that address the role of marketing at the College.

Provide support on and/or lead other projects as assigned by the Digital Campaign Manager.

Other duties may be assigned as the need arises.

Demonstrate strong oral, writing and editing skills.

Ability to craft and implement strategies focused on marketing objectives and goals.

Expressing or exchanging ideas and conversation by means of the spoken and written word; needs to be fluent and conversant using the English language.

Required Education/Experience:

3-4 years of experience working in related fields.

Proficiency in Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords, YouTube, Spotify Ads,

Google Analytics, Google Suite and MS Office Programs.

Experience or familiarity with various CRMs is required.

Knowledge of and experience with building a digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Experience with Slate (CRM).

Familiarity with Asana, media planning tools, and CMS systems.

Prior work with a liberal arts college/university.

Familiarity with nontraditional digital communications such as video and podcasts.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

Physical Work Environment:

This role is expected to be performed on campus unless otherwise directed or arranged for and operates primarily in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, filing systems and other job-related technology.

There is a mix of standing and sitting for this role, however approximately 50% of the in-office work day is spent in a stationary position.

Classified as light, occasional lifting or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling) up to 10 lbs.

Generally, college hours of operation for full-time staff are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Occasional travel required for this position.
