Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, currently has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing Department in our West Palm Beach office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.Position SummaryThe Marketing Specialist must be a self-starter who is flexible, collaborative, resourceful, and focused on supporting the firm’s West Palm Beach office. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills (including an ability to prioritize), and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, are essential. This candidate must possess a strong client service orientation and an ability to develop relationships within the firm. Ideally the candidate will have strong relationships with local media and community organizations.The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for contributing to a broad range of practice-specific business development and marketing activities.Duties & ResponsibilitiesIdentifies and assesses media opportunities for the office, local practice groups and individual attorneys including media pitches, press releases, and other media related efforts in coordination with the national team.Identifies and assesses targeted opportunities for the office, local practice groups and individual attorneys to become involved with/leverage relationships with community organizationsWorks with regional and practice group managers and the business development team to support proposal requests and RFPsSupports and organizes the deployment of programs and events hosted/sponsored by the West Palm Beach and Boca Raton offices, such as teleconferences, webinars, seminars, and other events, including the development and production of marketing materials and on-site logisticsCompiles information and drafts submissions for directory and ranking authorities such as Chambers USA, Legal 500, IFLR, etc.Drafts, edits and distributes marketing materials, internal newsletters, press releases, seminar materials, client updates and other client communications, as neededEnsures the flow of information from attorneys to marketing team, including as it relates to attorney biographies, practice area description updates, experience tracking news and activities data, press releases, etc.Collaborates with marketing professionals throughout the firm, including the communications team, marketing research team, RFP team, events team, and design teamWorks with marketing research team to gather research and analysis on targets and industries, as needed for business development purposesSelf-starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independentlyExcellent prioritization and time management skillsOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oralFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environmentStrong client-first work ethicAbility to remain calm in the face of pressure and within a time-sensitive environmentAbility to effectively interface with all levels of personnel with the organizationQualifications & Prior ExperienceCandidate will have a minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in marketing or business developmentHigh level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Experience at a law firm or other professional services firm is preferredGreenberg Traurig is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
