needed to establish and lead our IT Knowledge Management Practice. This role will focus on developing and implementing a comprehensive knowledge management strategy, creating and maintaining IT documentation, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the IT department.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement IT knowledge management strategies aligned with organizational goalsEstablish and document knowledge management processes and best practicesOversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of knowledge articles, FAQs, and other documentationPromote knowledge sharing and collaboration across the IT departmentDevelop and deliver training programs on knowledge management processes and toolsSelect and implement knowledge management tools to ensure integration with existing ITSM systemsMonitor and analyze the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives and implement improvementsEnsure compliance with knowledge management policies and data security regulationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in IT service management, with a focus on knowledge managementITIL v3/v4 certification preferred, Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS) certification is a plusStrong understanding of ITSM frameworks and best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in knowledge management tools and platformsServiceNow knowledge management is a plusFluent in English and SpanishLeadership and ability to drive changeStrong collaboration and interpersonal skillsCreative problem-solving and innovationAttention to detail and focus on qualityWork is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks and stands. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written words and sentences. Interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups.
