The Manager, Content Marketing, is responsible for developing long and short-term strategies to effectively convey messaging, strengthen brand identity, and elevate marketing and communications efforts through visual storytelling. They will lead the group responsible for creating and maintaining strategy and execution of videography, photography, virtual tours, virtual staging, visual renderings and graphic design. They will also manage vendor relations, budgets, collateral development, and support KPI’s through analytics and reporting. The Manager, Content is an experienced strategist who can envision and curate content with the ability to consistently communicate a brand’s story as well as design sensibly to envision how content will be presented or distributed in various formats and through multiple channels. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including Operations, Sales, Revenue Management, Learning & Development, Investor Relations, and Human Resources. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for leading the Content team and the financial administration of multimedia marketing activities and ensures that all marketing initiatives align with the overall business objectives and goals.

Responsibilities - Essential Job Functions Include The Following

Drive multimedia strategy and execution from concept to completion.Create, manage, and maintain an end-to-end process for special projects including photography, video, and virtual tour shoots; virtual staging; renderings; ADU updates; acquisitions and dispositions; lease-ups as well as new service offerings, etc.Stay abreast of the latest in multifamily technology and trends to enhance strategies and explore innovative solutionsManage Photo Shelter, including image refreshes, and support SEO efforts with next-gen image formats and SEO tagsServe as the multimedia marketing “expert” and lead and manage its executionCreate new multimedia content and proactively update and refresh across various platforms and systems, including website, CRM, and third-party syndication softwareSupport ongoing digital efforts, including image refreshes, SEO development strategy, blog and landing page development, community page updates, and ongoing website maintenanceDraft briefs, coordinate logistics, maintain project calendars, and communicate updates on project statusesManage feedback from various stakeholders and make timely adjustments to projects to address concernsMaintain and manage a network of third-party vendors including agencies and freelancersResearch and meet with vendors routinely to ensure support network is aligned with business objectives and goalsLead contract negotiations to ensure all agreements and contracts are in line with business requirements and are value drivenIdentify benchmarks, define KPIs, and establish reporting requirements to measure successMaintain inventory of marketing collateral in an efficient and effective mannerManage expenses against budget and approve vendor invoicesLead, coach and manage Content teamWork collaboratively with Essex marketing teams as well as other departmentsIdentify, define and document marketing SOPsContribute to the development of all marketing associates and the positive culture of the group as a wholeSupport corporate events, as assignedParticipate in all other marketing team activities and planning sessionsOther duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in multimedia, visual arts, visual communications, graphic design, or a related field is required5+ years of relevant corporate experience2+ years of experience in managementRich knowledge and passion for multimedia including all phases of production and execution through multiple online channelsProven experience coordinating with technical and business partner teamsExceptional project management and leadership skills including managing agencies and or/vendorsProficient in Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, OneDrive and ZoomSkilled with Adobe Creative Suiteand multimedia content management software, such as Photo ShelterExperience in real estate, architecture, or multifamily industryis a plus

The salary range for this position is $88,000.00 - $132,000.00 per year. New hires generally start between $88,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.

This role is also eligible to participate in Essex’s discretionary Annual Bonus program that is commensurate with the level of the position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
