We are looking for a mission driven Associate Director of Communications to join our team!

The Associate Director of Communications is responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of communications that support the brand, programs and marketing objectives for the organization. This includes writing, developing and/or coordinating items such as general advertising, marketing literature, social media, video production, as well as public relations responsibilities in collaboration with and under the guidance of the Development and Communications Director. This role oversees staff and vendors, such as advertising agencies, web developers, printers, content writers, graphic designers, and more.

This is a full-time position located on our administrative office off of 47th and Center. The schedule will be 40 hours per week; generally, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications or related field required. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of five years' experience in media, marketing, publication design and public relations required; experience in Spanish-language media and communications preferred.

Exemplary English verbal and written communication skills. Spanish proficiency preferred.

One or more years of supervisory experience preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Canva, Mailchimp, or similar. Experience with web content management systems required.

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills; detail oriented. Proactive and creative problem solving skills.

Able and willing to work some nights and weekends. Reliable means of transportation is necessary.

Demonstrated time management, organizational and record-keeping skills, with a high attention to detail.

Ability and willingness to travel to all OneWorld locations as well as other locations within the community in order to promote the clinic, maintain marketing material stock and attend events. Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required.
