The Opportunity At Apixio

Apixio is looking for an experienced Product Designer to join the team.

Candidates should possess strong creative, technical and problem-solving skills and experience with front-end web development methodologies. Ideal candidates are product designers with a mix of user research, design thinking, workflow and interaction design skills.

The person who fills this role will have the opportunity to shape delightful customer experiences for enterprise healthcare customers, which ultimately translates into better care delivery, lower costs, and streamlined processes. This will be an exciting, impactful, and challenging role for the right candidate.

We Will Be Asking You To

Consult with stakeholders to understand their processes, goals, and needsAdvocate for user needs while partnering with product managers to scope product requirementsCreate wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flowsOwn end-to-end design processCreate product prototypesDevelop personas and usage scenariosConduct usability testing, analyze user feedback, activity, and iterate to enhance the user experienceBe comfortable working with cross-functional groupsChampion and follow modern design practicesParticipate in design reviewsContribute to the design system and platform information architecture to provide a coherent and consistent experience across the product portfolio

To Be Effective In This Role You Will Need

Mastery of design software including: experience with Figma preferredExperience shipping successful software productsTo partner across teams at every stage to deliver the highest level of qualityLeadership skills in communicating research, conceptual ideas, and design rationale, all within a user-centered design processSolid analytic and modern design pattern understanding

We Are Assuming That You Have

B2B SaaS product design (specifically on desktop applications)Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceA portfolio that showcases your design ethos4+ years of industry experience as a User Experience/Product Designer building web applications in a team environmentA strong interest in best practices for user experience and demonstrable design and aesthetic sensibilities

The salary range below is for Base Salary. Total compensation also includes benefits and variable compensation. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.

Base Compensation

$80,000—$120,000 USD
