Provide business-practical solutions. Advise the business in assessing short-term tradeoffs in the context of broader strategic imperatives.Drive departmental initiatives, including the development or redesign of legal support processes to increase efficiencies and better align to the needs of the business.The experience you'll bring.2 - 4 years of experience as a business or litigation attorney, with top law firm and/or relevant in-house experience.Juris Doctor from an accredited university with outstanding academic credentialsCurrent bar membership (in good standing) in at least one U.S. state; eligibility for admission to Washington or Kansas barDemonstrated ability to lead highly complex projects and other high impact initiatives and navigate ambiguity.Ability to establish self as subject matter expert in specialty field(s)Ability to interact with senior management with strong executive maturityAbility to mentor and lead others informally in areas of expertiseExcellent written and oral communication skillsA demonstrated ability to collaborate with other legal and business professionals in a complex organization with a focus on delivering results efficientlyKeen pragmatic business sense with strong judgment and analytical skills, including the ability to translate the needs of senior leaders into actionAbility to operate independently and effectively in a dynamic environmentAbility to interact with a variety of personalities across the business organizationStrong organizational and prioritization skills to handle competing priorities.Ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentDesire and ability to work as part of a teamInterest in and aptitude for...
