The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in garment construction, pattern making, and fit analysis, combined with a passion for men's fashion. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure our men's apparel lines meet the highest standards of quality, fit, and design.

Essential Functions:

Create technical specification packages that include detailed garment construction information, such as sewing details, trims, and measurementsMeasure incoming garments against vendor measurements and maintain accurate measurements and specifications to ensure consistency across all product categoriesPrepare and track samples for fittings and make sure approval dates are metAttend & run technical fittings by preparing samples, taking notes, and completing fit listsMaintain tech log under the direction of the design teamMaintain tech packs under the direction of the Director of DesignGenerate detailed POM sketches, specs, and tech packs.Communication with factories in various methods, i.e. pattern correction, digital photos, technical sketches, technical notes, and garment constructionManage style input in web-based PLMCollaborate with internal/external teams: daily communication with overseas partners and internal Design, Production & Product Development department.Performs any other duties as assigned in support of the company's needs and operations.Qualifications Requirements :

College degree in technical design, fashion design, or equivalent experience in a related area and a minimum of 3-5 years of technical design experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Technical design experience in Men's apparel, experience using PLM, and knowledge of 3D CAD are all preferred qualifications.High creativity and artistic abilities, an eye for color, texture, and pattern with keen attention to detail, and the ability to visualize in three dimensions.Knowledge of grade rule and sewing and of patternmaking and draping.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, email, and the Internet.Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication and collaboration with design, sales team, and productionExcellent organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly and follow up.This is an onsite position in our NY Office. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000.
