Hourly Pay: $22-28/hour, based on experienceWe are seeking Chicagoland-area applicants only, as this position has the potential to turn into a full-time hire.

As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This role will begin as a 3-month contract, with potential for extension and eventual full-time hire.

This position will work remotely as a freelancer. As the Morreale team transitions to an in-office space this summer, any potential full-time hire for this role would require hybrid work, 2-3 days per week in our office in Rosemont, IL.

This role supports the upper-level creative team in developing a range of print and digital designs and graphics, under the direction of the Senior Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designer.Responsibilities and Duties :Support the graphic design team with creating a range of designs including flyers, fact sheets, signage, exhibit boards, presentations and other print deliverablesincluding brochures, banners and booklets.Review and assessment of project requirementsUtilize graphic design skills to produce a variety of work including:

Prepare files for printOrganize and manage digital assetsCollaborate with team to develop projectsTake art direction from upper creative staffRevise work based on feedback from team and clients

Qualifications and Skills :BA or BFA in Graphic Design2-3 years' experience in a similar roleStrong understanding of print design principles and layout, requiredNice to have: website design, video editing, motion graphics experienceAbility to multi-task and manage different projects at one timeAbility to produce designs from initial brief through to completionExcellent verbal and written skillsOrganized and self-motivated with strong time management skillsSkilled in Adobe CC InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft OfficeStrong portfolio of sample graphic design projectsEagerness to learn and grow design and marketing skillsExcellent computer competency and adept at learning new digital platforms; Knowledge of Asana a huge plusBeing able to work well with other creative members to streamline tasks efficientlyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to take design feedback and incorporate it quicklySolid understanding of the principles and elements of design, layout, and grid systemsDemonstrated ability to work and maintain good judgment in fast-paced environments while managing workload and prioritiesAvailable to extended hours when needed to meet deadlinesCommitment to Morreale Core ValuesView our Core Values video
