Civil Structural Designer
to support our prestigious client in the construction and engineering industry. As an AutoCAD Designer, you will collaborate directly with engineers to create detailed scaffold drawing packages that meet precise project specifications. Your role will be crucial in developing innovative solutions and custom parts for a variety of industries, ensuring the success of each project.Responsibilities:Design and develop scaffold drawing packages based on three-dimensional thinking and technical understandingWork under engineers to deliver precise drawings for scaffolding projects within deadlinesSupport the sales team with designs and material lists for project bidsDevelop new solutions and custom parts to meet customer needs across various industriesPrepare plans, perform simple calculations, and create construction drawings and step-by-step instructions for customersManage multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlinesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and lead designers to ensure project successQualifications:AS in Drafting, Engineering, or Construction (or equivalent) requiredProficiency in AutoCAD 3D and drafting/designing in construction preferredProficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (PDFs), and Google EarthAbility to read and understand construction documents such as blueprints, drawings, and 3D representationsEffective problem-solving skills with sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovationStrong ability to retain information and apply procedures in future projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a team and adapt to established proceduresUS Work permit requiredWant to be notified of similar positions?
