Responsible for implementing internal communications and employee engagement programs that support our employee-centric culture, promote a highly engaged workforce and empower our employees to serve as brand ambassadors for our company. Reports to VP of Corporate & Brand Communications.

Job Responsibilities•Create, write and edit various internal communications materials, including company emails, newsletters, employee app communications, meetings and events, videos and announcements that foster open communication throughout the organization and reinforce our company culture, vision and values.• Develop and manage an editorial calendar of company events, news, perks, benefits opportunities, and significant company milestones. Work closely with key business partners to ensure compelling content is documented and shared with the broader employee base.• Oversee the buildout and maintenance of information on the company employee communications portal and monitor to ensure consistency, relevance and accuracy.• Support employee engagement objectives by owning key recognition programs, promoting and assisting with training and development opportunities, and serving as a primary meeting contact for employee communications events such as employee update meetings.• Create compelling employee-centric content that underscores our core values and celebrates the diversity that exists within our organization.• Support a culture of fun by taking the lead in concepting, organizing and promoting employee events and activities designed to foster employee satisfaction; support employee involvement in company-sponsored outreach events and community volunteering; assist with employee incentives, contests, ticket distributions and other engagement activities.• Manage the company's day-to-day relationship with area nonprofits through planned giving and volunteerism partnerships. Amplify participation in activities that promote company visibility, build a strong company image, and increase public awareness through internal and external channels, such as social media, employee app, and earned media.• Participate in company's business continuity structure by providing internal communications during business-impacting events, such as inclement weather.• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education•Bachelor's in journalism, Public Relations, Communications, English, Human Resources or related field preferred

Experience• 3+ years of related internal communications or employee relations experience•System implementation, integration and administration experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities•Excellent writing, proofing and editing skills•Strong grasp of AP style•Fluency with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Office)•Proficiency with common graphic design programs or ability to quickly learn the required skills; familiarity with web design and video production
