Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Creative Technical Writer to join their team in Riverwoods, Illinois! This role assists in creating technical documents such as manuals and product descriptions
Duties:Update existing technical documents and documents new featuresRead technical specifications, work with subject matter experts, and uses interim software products to understand complex featuresParticipate in research and interviews to understand product detailsUse templates and follows a style guide for document creationCreate simple diagrams and captures screenshotsReview, analyze, and update content to maintain accuracy and continuityPerform proofreading as needed and assignedCreate scripts to be used by the testing organization
Desired Skills/Experience:Bachelor's Degree4+ years experience in Documentation, technical script writing, L&D, or Communications2+ years of experience with Constant Contact or similarGeneral Knowledge of Google SuiteMandatory experience with Salesforce as a user, admin experience desirableOverall understanding of SaaS business processes and experience in implementing solutions to gaps from a technical and/or project management perspectiveNeed to be inquisitive and constantly wondering how to make the sales cycle faster, more effective, and/or easier to completeMust be able to work autonomously and make large business impacting decisions confidently
