The HCM Report Writer role typically involves working with Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and data to gather, analyze, and write reports to support decision-making within the Shared Business Operations (SBO) and all CHS human resources functions.As an HCM Report Writer at Community Health Systems, you'll play a vital role in supporting our purpose to help people get well and live healthier by providing safe, quality healthcare, building enduring relationships with our patients, and providing value for the people and communities we serve. Our team members enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, flexible scheduling, 401k and student loan repayment programs.Required Experience:Minimum five (5) or more years of strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex HR/payroll data with the proficient use of data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL (e.g., Oracle OTBI, FDI / FAW, Tableau, Power BI) to manipulate and analyze large datasets. Minimum three (3) years of experience with Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud platform, tables, databases, report writing toolsets and data structure. Experience in Oracle report writing (OTBI, FDI / FAW and/or BIP) required. Ability to create visually compelling reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex HR data and insights to non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of HR processes, metrics, and compliance regulations to interpret and analyze HR data accurately. Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and identify data anomalies or inconsistencies. Ability to identify data-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions to improve data quality and reporting efficiency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills present findings and recommendations. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements. Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field(s).

Preferred Experience:Healthcare experience Google Suite License/Registration/Certification: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Analytics Professional (CAP),and Six Sigma. Education: Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) may be preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Data Analysis: Collect, validate data from various HCM systems, including HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), payroll, and talent management systems - particularly Oracle HCM and related modules. Report Development: Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders such executives, business leaders from the finance, accounting, and operations teams using Oracle (OTBI, FAW/FDI) and Google tools. Data Interpretation: Analyze HR data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations, and provide actionable recommendations to improve HR processes, talent management, and workforce planning. User Support and Training: Provide end-user support by troubleshooting and resolving financial reporting related issues. Conduct user training sessions and create user documentation to promote effective utilization of reporting from the Oracle ERP system. Collaborate with business partners to address user feedback, identify report enhancements, and implement continuous improvements. Compliance Reporting: Prepare reports to meet regulatory and compliance requirements, such as EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) reporting or diversity and inclusion metrics. Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by establishing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with HR business partners, talent acquisition teams, compensation and benefits specialists, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver insights that align with organizational goals. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, automate data collection and analysis, and enhance data visualization techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
