The Redfin Brand Design team is looking for a contract Designer to scale our talented creative team through January 2025. You are an experienced designer who is passionate about advertising, marketing, and brand. You are comfortable collaborating with a team of designers, writers, and marketers as well as executives to deliver exceptional marketing experiences to be seen by millions of consumers nationwide. This role reports into the Head of Brand Design + Copy.
Day to Day
In 2025, we are expanding our Redfin Premier direct mail program to every market where Redfin operates, allowing us to reach more Premier (luxury) homeowners and drive growth for the brand and our real estate agents nationwide. As the brand designer for Redfin's 2025 campaign, you lead creative development and execution of our print and digital placements. You will work directly with a copywriting partner and producer alongside Redfin's internal design and marketing teams. You model excellence in your design craft. You know best practices for marketing channels, are able to present ideas with confidence, all while being able to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders.
Requirements
Knowledge of creative and design principles related to advertising and marketing channels
Effectively develop cross functional relationships while balancing the needs of stakeholders
Ability to present creative concepts effectively to senior executives
Ability to take ownership and responsibility on projects from creative development through to execution
Willingness and ability to be reactive, flexible, and resourceful under tight deadlines
Basic Qualifications
4-6+ years of relevant professional experience at an agency or in-house creative team.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Experience using Asana for project management
Preferred Qualifications
A portfolio demonstrating creative executions scaling across multiple marketing/brand/advertising channels
Experience working with a copywriting partner required
Experience with campaign creative required
Experience with direct mail is nice to have
