Our client is seeking a
Substation Design Manager
to join their team in Overland Park, KS.Relocation will be provided.
Requirements:Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.Minimum of 7-10 years of work experience related to Substation Design or related area required.Able to lead and mentor a small team of engineers in a collaborative, team environment.Knowledgeable on applicable codes and industry standards including the National Electric Safety Code (NESC), Rural Utility Service (RUS) Bulletins & applicable IEEE Standards.Proficient with various software packages including AutoCAD, Mathcad, and other design tools.Working knowledge of design tools including Aspen One-Liner, ETAP,SKM Power Tools, Milsoft WindMil/LightTable, WinIGS, & GroundMat desirable.
