Mon–Fri. Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays; Secondary holidays may be a scheduled work day.

Reports To

: Regional Marketing Director

Location

: Orchard Park, NY OR Greece, NY; some travel involved, hybrid work schedule is available with satisfactory performance and time in position.

Summary

:

The Marketing Coordinator is an integral role that will assist the Regional Marketing Director in implementing multiple projects resulting in new student enrollment, increased brand awareness and alumni relations engagement. The ideal candidate is an organized, creative multitasker who can meet tight deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

:

Project Management:

Provide support to the Regional Marketing Director for daily/weekly tasks, as well as long-term projects and initiatives.

Coordinates the creation, printing and distribution of marketing materials, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, banners, ads, and social media content.

Content Creation and Social Media Management:

Gathers content and story details highlighting students, faculty and alumni achievements and campus events to be used for newsletters, social media content, blogs and public relations with particular focus on NY and Ohio.

Posts content on social media and assists in maintaining a content calendar (organic posts) in coordination with systems marketing social plans.

Supports the creation of and schedules social media posts, engages with followers, and monitors social media analytics for NY and OH.

Manages the social marketing needs for monthly staff acknowledgements (Bobcat of the Month, Associate of the Month, etc…)

Assist with planning and creation of social content as needed for the NY and Ohio markets.

Supports the MarCom Manager in the scheduling of posts via VistaSocial as needed.

Ensure timeliness of response to inquiries posted to the College’s social media channels and monitors activity for any concerns.

Campus Collaboration & Promotion:

Helps coordinate and place campus and college wide promo orders.

Gathers input from the campuses, systems and online for various reasons.

Provides administrative support for the spirit store and pop up store.

Event Promotion:

Assists in the planning and promotion of campus and systemwide events, such as open houses, information sessions, etc…and will gather outcomes.

Develops event marketing materials and coordinate outreach efforts to attract attendees.

Updates local community calendars and drafts local media alerts [NY and OH].

Marketing Support:

Work with internal marketing team and external partners to develop or revise marketing collateral.

Maintain an inventory of marketing support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed both digital and print.

Creates QR codes as needed for various initiatives.

Coordinate email campaigns as necessary.

Provides support on special projects, that may include but are not limited to new program launches, alumni communications, and audits. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications

:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, public relations, advertising, or similar field.

Experience:

2 years of experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role is required.

Oversight of a professional social media account that promotes engagement.

Experience working with graphic design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie or video production experience a plus but not required.

Photography experience a plus.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office

SALARY:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year.

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
