You will lead a strategic consumer and insights driven marketing agenda that will drive volume, topline growth and brand equity. This experience will develop and showcase the ability to develop deep consumer understanding, identify growth opportunities and bring them to market to positively impact sales and profitability. This role will hone skills in building strong team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity, and driving for results.As the Foodservice Associate Marketing Manager for Colleges & Universities (C&U)/Workplace and Rec & Retail, your mandate will be to drive growth by leading the marketing agenda both internally (across our brands & customer teams) and externally with these customers. You will support the West Division foodservice marketing team in the development and execution of local marketing initiatives in top Away-From-Home partners. The Foodservice Marketing Associate Manager will be responsible for the creation, communication, and execution of marketing programs in assigned Recreation, Collegiate, and Workplace channel accounts. This role will also be responsible for managing budgets, activation logistics, and providing post program analysis. Building strong relationships is integral to this role as you partner with your key account team, insights, shopper & brand teams, and your customer’s marketing teams to build mutually beneficial programs together.ResponsibilitiesOwn the marketing agenda for the C&U/Workplace and Rec & Retail channel and priority accounts within the West Division in partnership with sales, and deliver against key growth metrics internally and externally.Lead development of playbooks and toolkits for C&U/Workplace and Rec & Retail channels.New Business and Renewals:

Build marketing strategies and concepts for Renewals and RFPs for priority prospects; uncover core consumer insights, establish joint objectives and create 360 strategies.New Business Templates: Develop new business pitch templates across C&U and Rec & Retail channels.

Insights development & activation planning: Bring insights-led thinking to assist in the creation of partnership marketing strategy, creative development and sell in - keeping PepsiCo brands connected to the consumer (Both Channel and Customer-specific). Demonstrate leadership by building partnership opportunities through the development of innovative custom marketing solutions that achieve customer business objectives and PepsiCo brand goals.Own and/or support the creation and execution of national brand programs and toolkits at key priority foodservice accounts within the West Division.Support the launch of national innovation priorities through customer-specific programming and consumer engagement.Develop and manage region-wide syndicated programming including the West’s Field Activation Sampling Program by building a localized plan with Sr Marketing Manager to increase trial and intensify consumption.Understand the student & recreation landscape and build tailored campus plans for each university in line with National Strategy. Own the development of marketing programs leveraging regional properties and assets.Support Quarterly Business Plan development and planning.Manage communication with select Sector Brand and Channel partners.Manage agency relationships to deliver breakthrough programs and creative that drive unique points of difference for our brands within the market or region.Support development and execution of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the C&U/Workplace and Rec & Retail channels.Effectively manage A&M budget, which includes planning out full year spend, ongoing tracking and budget reconciliation.Compensation and Benefits:The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.Minimum 4 years of experience with consumer-packaged goods or Food Service/On-Premise industries preferred. Previous customer & channel experience considered an asset.Demonstrated ability as a “big idea” thinker.
