As a Product Manager on our Trust & Safety team, you will collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, operations, product policies, and various relevant internal teams to build safety product features and strategies to comply with the latest global data regulations. We are looking for a Product Manager to design, develop, and drive products to launch for Content Classification. With Content Classification, we look to build an end-to-end age-appropriate experience for users on TikTok. You will have opportunities to drive product solutions for system design modeling and interactive design.

Key ResponsibilitiesDrive product strategy and build features and tools to support responses to legal, law enforcement regulation, compliance, and privacy-related inquiries and requests.Define product roadmap, set metrics that inform the success of safety efforts, and work with the engineering team to implement product solutions.Develop a robust workflow for cross-team collaboration and manage large-scale product improvement projects to improve community safety.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in building social networking or video content applications, or other consumer internet applications, or content detection or classification models.Ability to design product solutions based on data; proven track record of pushing ambitious products from system design to interactive design.Robust product management and people skills; ability to influence and unite cross-functional teams.Experience working with cross-functional partners across different time zones, cultures, and languages.Data-sensitive, capable of in-depth data interpretation.

Preferred QualificationsFamiliar with VSP (video sharing platform) regulations and able to collaborate with not only Engineering, UX, Data, Algorithm teams but also PR, GR, Legal, and Policy teams.Ability to work in a high-tempo environment resiliently, adapting and responding to day-to-day challenges of the role.Knowledgeable in global content moderation data regulations such as the Digital Services Act, etc.

Job Information:

Compensation Description (annually)The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $149040 - $311600 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.Our company benefits are designed to convey company culture and values, create an efficient and inspiring work environment, and support our employees to give their best in both work and life.
