Upper Bay Counseling is looking for a full-time Director of Development and Marketing to provide direct support to the Development Department, agency, staff, donors, and sponsors. This position provides referral sources for community members regarding fundraising events efforts, marketing material production, agency web-based marketing, department administrative support, fundraising, financial and data base management, and agency community education management. This position requires the candidate to have strong computer expertise.
The Director of Development and Marketing must have strong organizational skills, written, verbal and excellent computer skills. Candidate should have proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe, Dream Weaver, Power Point and experience with Fundraiser Pro software is a plus. This position requires precise documentation and record-keeping skills, experience with fundraising management, data base management, financial management skills, high levels of confidentiality and professionalism, good judgment and problem-solving skills. Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced working environment. Additionally, must possess the ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and a fast learner and thinker. This person must have the ability to give and receive feedback and must be able to understand, embrace, support and promote the true goals and mission of the organization. Associate’s degree Preferred, bachelor’s degree desirable with a minimum of three years of progressive experience in fund raising/community relations/marketing.
