Job Description

The Director leads the water treatment and recycling practice including business development activities, managing a team of professionals, and directing water treatment and recycling projects for the Permian region. The priorities for this position include strategic planning, product design, quality assurance, and problem resolution. The Director must execute product design to meet company objectives, collaborate with management, and develop systems and controls to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

* Building relationships and growing the water treatment & recycling business in the public sector.* Develop intermediate and long-range strategic planning for the water treatment & recycling practice.* Responsible for the quality assurance program for project deliverables within the practice.* Provide expertise in collaborative delivery methodologies to internal and external clients.* Conduct needs analyses and client value surveys to align the engineering discipline's function with business and project strategy, identifying and addressing any skill gaps or risks within the water treatment & recycling business operations.* Identify and prioritize on site treatment issues causing water quality problems.* Understand chemical applications in produced water treatment.* Recognize and improve treatment restrictions and issues to help build efficiency in operator managed recycle sites.* Troubleshoot systems including skimming, tank maintenance, chemical injections, flow design, and water quality issues.* Travel to recycle sites to provide training, QA/QC, and feedback on operator and site performance to Operations Manager and Director.* Ability to troubleshoot water. Performing bench top style testing to develop an effective treatment plan for site specific waters.* Prepare reports for and advise senior management regularly regarding the activities of the practice.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.* 3+ years of related experience and/or training.* Must possess valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select's insurance guidelines.* Must have working knowledge of oil and gas field infrastructure services, oil/gas fluid handling services, and water treatment background.* Be willing to travel as needed.* Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.* Skilled in the standards, concepts, practices, and procedures within the regulatory field.* Ability to work at all levels within the organization and the ability to work in a diverse work group.* Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
