Milwaukee, Wisconsin - HQ - HYBRIDJob DescriptionBrief DescriptionReporting to the Sr Director of Commercial Bearing, the Global Strategic Marketing Manager (Bearing) will define, develop and oversee the deployment of global growth strategies that identify, target and deliver distinctive value propositions and generate sustained, above-market sales growth. The role will develop and maintain market intelligence for target industries, including size and growth, key customer needs/ VOC and competitive awareness.Additionally, this role will identify market and product/ portfolio adjacencies, develop M&A target funnels and cultivate relationships that lead to strategic acquisitions that enhance the company's industry competitiveness. This position may assist or lead in the M&A process as needed, including integration.Key AccountabilitiesMarket Driven Strategic PlanningCollaborate with peers to develop, advance, and implement an industry vertical market planning process.Collaborate in the development, prioritization, and deployment of broader Powertrain/ cross selling plan, including key growth themes and initiatives that cross industry segments.Develop and maintain unique sources and synthesis of market intelligence for target industries, including but not limited to: segment specific size and growth trends, key customer needs/ VOC, technology drivers and potential disruptors, competitive landscape, and proxies used for leading/ lagging indicators.Develop a deep understanding of VOC and End User/ OEM/ Distribution needs, trending, and decision making processes.Direct the development of timely business, economic, market and competitive intelligence analysis to support strategic planning initiatives, penetrate new markets, and evaluate performance of ongoing market growth and share capture initiatives.Lead annual Strategic planning process which should generate consistent profitable growth and market share gains in targeted industries and markets.Support product lifecycle management with critical assessment of product portfolio strengths, gaps and technology trends in targeted industries and markets.Market Driven Product Portfolio PlanningAssist product managers with development and maintenance of product roadmaps (organic and inorganic) that enhance and improve Regal Rexnord's competitiveness in target industries.Support the identification and definition of clear and differentiating value propositions for specific product and market segments.Working closely with the product management team, create and manage forward-looking product innovations and associated service plans.Identify market and product/ portfolio adjacencies and critically assess and define the path to access. Specifically, define make/ partner/ buy recommendations to optimize profitable growth in attractive adjacencies.Develop M&A target funnels and cultivate relationships that lead to strategic acquisitions which enhance Regal Rexnord's industry competitiveness. Assist or lead in the M&A process as needed, including integration.Travel domestically and internationally to support the acceleration of growth (15-20%).Product portfolio planning should create measurable increases in penetration in key accounts and targeted segments, as well as consistently improve overall product vitality across vertical.Market Driven Support of Commercial Excellence and Market Share CaptureDevelop segmentation, positioning, and value proposition communications that support growth of overall Regal Rexnord portfolio in targeted segments of global end markets.Create plans for a "connected/ smart" offering platform for industrial end-markets to deliver a "digital thread" to enterprise customers.Tailor value proposition messaging and other commercial support tools to influence key drivers in value chain - end users, OEMs, distributors, and other key influencers of specification and purchase decision.Develop actionable segmentation tools and methods that identify, prioritize and target new leads for global commercial team.Provide marketing leadership of campaigns focused on customer solutions while driving sales growth through marketing campaigns in selected segments.Support of commercial excellence should result in consistent achievement of the annual growth plan for target markets, as well as regular improvement in customer satisfaction levels.QualificationsMinimum of 5+ years of commercial, strategic planning, product or marketing experience in a B2B industrial manufacturing enterprise.Prefer a Business or Engineering bachelor's degree with post graduate studies (M.B.A. preferred).Proven track record of delivering organic and inorganic growth through superior industrial marketing, as well as new product development and commercialization.Experience in delivery of superior growth.Related industrial experience, possibly within the capital equipment sector, with highly engineered products and complex B2B channels to market.Ability to travel domestically and internationally (15 to 20% of the time) is required.Desired QualificationsKnowledge of electro-mechanical integration, mechatronics, factory/ process automation, and/ or Industrial Internet of Things, are desirable experiences.Understanding of Lean principles.Direct experience in a process-related manufacturing sector.Direct experience within any of our targeted industrial markets.Bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, German or Chinese).
