The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and leading brand, category and merchandising initiatives ensuring complete integration across all disciplines, maintaining our communications calendar and marketing plans. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for leading the social strategy and corresponding content. This role oversees three direct reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads the execution of marketing brand initiatives from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration to ensure complete integration.

Leads the execution of category/merchandising brand initiatives.

Leads the development of our social strategy and corresponding content.

Leads three direct reports.

Owns development of our cross-functional annual marketing communications calendar.

Owns management of our cross-functional marketing plans and creative briefs.

Leads integrated brand creative execution including graphic requests.

Is responsible for all retail leadership communication.

Assists with creative and production needs.

Assists with marketing analysis needs.

Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule is required.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications

Minimum of 7 years of experience building and managing a consumer retail brand.

Previous experience leading a team of 3+ people.

Previous experience working with agency partners.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills including verbal communication, listening, negotiation and problem solving

Strong conceptual skills

Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote

Hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part-time store associates are paid a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Hourly full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
