At Betsey Johnson, the Art Director collaborates closely with the Creative Director to conceptualize, lead, and execute digital campaigns that encompass the entire customer journey. Design responsibilities extend from crafting the website and email marketing experience to organic social media. The focus is on ensuring brand integrity, aligning business objectives with brand heritage, and incorporating cultural trends into seamless brand expressions.

Major Responsibilities:

Execute the brand's visual identity across multi-channel campaigns, ensuring creative executions align with business objectives and evoke emotional reactions from customers.Oversee creative direction during content capture, working closely with talents, team members, and the creative director.Provide on-set direction and make selects in real time to ensure the successful execution of the creative vision.Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results without compromising on creativity.Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and conceptualize ideas for ecommerce, photo shoots, and other visual content.Oversee post-production processes, providing retouching notes and video editing feedback.Work with the E-Commerce department in developing web creative framework that they use to execute weekly updates. Establishes and produces graphic material for use in advertising and promotion of online services and products.Special projects are completed as needed and other duties relating to graphics or marketing may be assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes

Qualifications

5+ years of agency or in house art direction/design experience. Fashion or beauty is preferred.Bachelor or Master's degree in Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Exceptional presentation and communication skills.Strong illustration, typography, brand identity, and color theory skills.Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms and crafting content specific to them.Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Mac Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs.What you bring:

Salary Range:The pay range of this position is $100,000 - $110,000. Actual salary will be determined based off candidate’s skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401K, and additional company benefits.
