Overview

ABM is seeking an experienced and driven Marketing Project Manager who excels in a highly matrixed company that prides itself on collaboration and innovation. This role thrives on creative problem-solving and partnership in developing high-quality deliverables with the marketing team, sales, events, HR, and executive leadership.

The Marketing Project Manager is a highly organized, savvy, energetic candidate that is proactive and fast-learning – with proven experience managing the creative development project flow.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to think strategically about the requirements for each project and will be able to independently research and acquire various elements or missing details. The Marketing Project Manager must have experience working within a creative environment and with creative teams including graphic designers, web production, motion graphics designers, copy writers, strategists, production, marketing, and sales teams.

What you will do:

Preferred Experience:

Evaluate new project requests; quickly gather key details, recommend project approach, and appropriate resources.

Establish and manage project scopes, external budgets, and timelines; forecasts hours, and coordinate with cross-functional solution teams and partners.

Create and maintain the creative project plans in our WRIKE system.

Identify and track the flow of tasks between the creative team and internal clients; includes managing the project through each phase and reporting status.

Monitor intermediate and long-term deadlines and key milestones to ensure timely, high-quality execution.

Responsible for asking the right questions tailored to the target audiences; working with VP of Brand and Marketing to identify/clarify goals/objective of creative deliverables, and approvers who will be involved in reviews.

Drive and participate in kickoff and follow-up meetings, always keeping things moving swiftly and effectively.

Research outstanding questions, get content decisions, and gather missing information from all vested stakeholder groups to ensure accurate scope, requirements, and deadlines prior to brand team's engagement.

Manage, monitor, and document review cycles.

Work with both internal and external creative partners to execute project deliverables.

Coordinate and lead all project communications; keep all stakeholders updated of status, requirements, and potential risks.

Manage expectations regarding resourcing, timelines, budgets, and reviews/approvals.

Troubleshoot and propose solutions for obstacles.

Ensure final assets are delivered to approved specifications.

Coordinate asset delivery through the Brand Center DAM and other approved digital distribution platforms.

Track and update project details in our internal work management tool.

Ensure project documentation is secured and stored in the appropriate systems.

Organize and facilitate operational meetings including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.

Focus on continuous improvement; define and implement new processes and workflows as needs arise.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in project or account management within an internal or external creative agency or within a corporate marketing department.

Great affinity for developing relationships with both internal and external partners.

Knowledge and experience in a variety of processes, programs, and deliverables, such as creative ideation, broadcast, web, social, and digital.

Proven ability to pivot quickly and prioritize assignments.

Relentless motivation to optimize internal processes.

Proficient in MSFT Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, PPT, Word, etc.)

Experience with Workfront a plus.
