Clear Start

is Dermalogica-s breakout-focused sub-brand, designed to appeal to Gen Z and help treat their breakout-prone skin. Created by Dermalogica-s founder Jane Wurwand when she saw first hand the struggle her own daughters went through with their teen acne and the knock-on impact it had on their self-esteem. She created Clear Start to offer a range of products that help intercept acne before the symptoms escalate, while teaching young adults healthy skin care habits.

To increase focus and accelerate growth a separate team has been created which operates autonomously from the Dermalogica organization. This has created incredibly exciting results so far given the agility within the team to quickly create insights, test ideas, and push forward at pace.

We are now seeking a talented and highly motivated Influencer Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing influencer marketing programs across the entire marketing funnel.

Responsibilities:

Develop influencer marketing campaigns and evergreen programs that align with Clear Start-s brand and marketing objectives that can be scaled to global teams.

Be a Clear Start brand ambassador with a passion for skincare products and expertise. This includes being knowledgeable about products, as well as being able to communicate the brand's message effectively to external stakeholders.

Identify and build relationships with key influencers across a variety of channels and own the outreach process, from initial contact and engagement to paid / affiliate engagement.

Track and measure the results of influencer marketing to optimize performance utilizing tools like Tribe Dynamics / Creator IQ, Traackr or GRIN.

Work cross-functionally with other marketing teams to ensure that influencer marketing campaigns are integrated into overall marketing & retail strategy

Oversee Influencer briefs and ensure they are aligned with business goals, channel best practices and brand strategy.

Help ideate and host events, to generate buzz for Clear Start-s products and build relationships with influencers and their communities.

Ensure paid partnerships with influencers are maximized and provide long-term value for driving broader awareness and sales impact.

Mentor and develop two direct reports in the development and execution of influencer marketing campaigns.

Understand and use influencer marketing metrics such as engagement rate, reach, and conversion rate

Understand paid media and how to use it to optimize influencer marketing campaigns

Understand CRM tools and journey mapping (favorable)

Support with events and ideation of event programs with retail and brand marketing teams

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in influencer marketing within the skincare, wellness or cosmetic industries.

Working knowledge and understanding of Tribe Dynamics and/ Traackr

Familiarity with GA4, META & TikTok Ads Manager

Strong understanding of the beauty industry and social media.

Excellent writing and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience working with affiliate marketing programs and key retailers (Sephora & ULTA)

The expected base salary for this position is $70,000-$90,000.

The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, and budget. This role is eligible for participation in our company bonus plan, rewarding personal performance and company results.
