Description

Position Summary:

Assists the Marketing Team by coordinating, monitoring, and executing marketing initiatives across a variety of channels and in all markets to meet the Bank's strategic marketing plan and objectives. Utilizes creativity and organization working with digital and traditional marketing. Represents WNB while coordinating and executing events and community giving. Understands and completes job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Essential Functions:

Administrative 35%

Tracks and monitors marketing performance indicators for campaigns, digital engagement, and eventsResearches, orders, inventories, and distributes ad novelties and logo wear as directedCoordinates, tracks, and reports on community giving in all marketsMonitors competitor ads and promotions in all marketsTracks and maintains the Bank's historical archivesGraphic Design and Campaigns 35%

Assists with graphic design and implementation of marketing materials, for digital and traditional marketing, social media, external communications, public relations, and internal documents as directedServes as the Bank's photographer and videographer as directedSchedules and distributes advertising materials to vendors as directedUpdates, monitors, and archives the Bank's marketing effortsEvents 20%

Coordinates vendors, staff, and volunteers as directed for bank and community events in all marketsPrepares materials, assists in the set up and take down for bank and community events in all markets as directedMaintains the event calendar for all marketsAssists in measuring event success and makes recommendations for improvementAdditional Duties and Responsibilities 10%

Assists with coworker marketing, branding, referral, and social media trainingProvides tours of the Historic Downtown Winona OfficeServes as a community and Bank representativeParticipates in internal and external training and development opportunities as requiredOther job-related duties necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position

Regular contact with co-workers. Works periodically with clients. Regular contact with suppliers/vendors; occasional contact with community/trade/professional affiliations. Works regularly with highly confidential business and client information.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

A degree or certification in marketing, communications, or related field required. Previous marketing, graphic design, website/social media management and event planning preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office required. Familiarity with financial institution products, operations, and procedures preferred. Must possess courteous and professional customer service attitude; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential client and Bank information. Must be able to demonstrate effective organizational and planning skills. Must possess strong computer skills; technical ability to input and retrieve computerized information; knowledge of graphic design and web software; basic mathematical skills up to and including decimals; legible handwriting. Must be able to deal effectively with time pressures and stress that can change hourly depending on level of activity; effective problem solving and research skills. Must be a self-starter and independent thinker and meet goals as outlined by the Marketing Manager.

Working Conditions :

Work is performed largely in an office environment with minimal chance for personal injury. Occasional out-of-town and overnight business travel (air or auto) is required for business and education. Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage required. Regular use of telephone. Frequent repetitive use of keyboard for approximately 7 hours per day. Requires ability to receive and provide detailed information through verbal and written communication. Requires near-, mid-range, and far vision; depth perception, color vision, and field of vision. Will alternate sitting, standing, and walking throughout work shift. Bend, turn, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds of documents, event/ad novelty items, office supplies. Hours of work are generally during regular business hours, but also include occasional nights and weekends for events. There will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines, community events, and other concerns.

Equipment Used:

Operates personal computer in a Windows environment for word processing, spreadsheets, graphic design, web design, e-mail, internet, and other bank specific software. Operates core systems on Silverlake. Utilizes a variety of office equipment including computer, printer, ten-key calculator, copy machine, multi-line telephone, cart, digital camera, multi-media projector, paper cutter, and laminator.
