What We're Looking For:Experience:

2-3 years in social media management and 1-3 years in event coordination.Physical Requirements:

This role is active and requires periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds is necessary. Specific vision abilities, including close vision and color differentiation, are required.Travel:

Must be comfortable with 50% travel on short notice, up to 5 days at a time.A Day in the Life:

Social Media Management:

You will oversee social media accounts, develop content calendars, engage with followers, and monitor brand mentions. You'll leverage analytics to identify opportunities and drive performance improvements.Event Leadership:

Lead and manage events and community outreach, from planning to post-event analysis, ensuring each initiative drives engagement and meets strategic goals. You'll also collaborate with partnerships, sponsorships, and financial oversight, building strong relationships with community leaders, business owners, and internal teams.Content & Communication:

Craft and refine content across various platforms, maintaining our brand's voice and presence. Your sharp, outgoing demeanor and excellent communication skills will be key as you collaborate with different stakeholders.Core Responsibilities:

Design & Copywriting:

Create and design content for digital, print, and social media platforms.Write engaging, brand-consistent copy across all channels.

Event Planning & Execution:

Plan, execute, and oversee marketing events, promotions, and giveaways.Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics, including ribbon-cuttings and other on-site events.

Website Management:

Update and maintain website content to enhance user experience and SEO.Collaborate with website partners to manage timelines and expectations.

Chamber Memberships:

Build and maintain relationships with local chambers of commerce.

Organic Social Media:

Develop and implement social media strategies.Create and schedule content, monitor performance, and make adjustments as needed.

Design & Creative Oversight:

Create graphics for marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and manage outsourced design projects.

Reporting & Analysis:

Compile and analyze data from organic marketing efforts.Prepare reports to track and optimize marketing performance.

Content Creation:

Develop and curate content for blogs and social media.Create content on site as needed.Organize content to support marketing initiatives, including in-house photography and overseeing videography.Eye for photography is a plus.Create engaging short-form content for social media and email marketing.
