Sr. Manager, SustainabilityJob OverviewThis role is a key temporary position within the Sustainability Office that is involved in the daily Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) administration, organizing, and advancing the portfolio of ESG initiatives across the organization. Acts as a key member of the Sustainability Team by assisting process development and documentation of sustainability workflows, analytics, planning and forecasting. Drafts and documents policies and procedures related to organization wide ESG initiatives and serves to strengthen awareness and enhance discipline. Facilitates reporting, analytics, & insights efforts and informs corporate strategy through data-driven insights and structured processes. This role will interface with all major business units and will work with the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) and various levels of management.This is a temporary position (4-6 month assignment) with potential to extend100% remote – can sit anywhere in the USEssential FunctionsApply a developing understanding of technical writing practices and skills, help and support corporate sustainability team on technical writing projects in alignment with meeting external and internal ESG standards.Works with the CSO, the ESG Management Committees, Supply Chain, and the Legal, Regulatory & Corporate Affairs teams to lead the creation and drafting of the organization’s ESG master process documentation.

Build and maintain technical content documenting the data collection process, calculation methodologies, control processes, and definitions of terms related to ESG Key Process Indicators (KPIs).Implement processes and procedures for ensuring that documentation is complete, accurate and current.Partner and work with senior leadership to identify products, processes, or concepts to be documented and establish standards and formats for corporate documentation.Handle basic issues and problems with direct support from the Sr. Manager, Sustainability, while escalating more complex issues to the CSO or appropriate staff.

Work collaboratively with internal teams on achieving ESG certifications, to include, SCS Water Stewardship and Resiliency Certification, WAVE Water Stewardship Verification, and other forms of assured results.Conduct research and benchmarking the company’s ESG processes against external assessment frameworks and peers.Other duties as assigned· Minimum of 2 years work-experience· Conducted or participated in process design, reporting and/or audits of corporate performance in Water Use/Stewardship, Greenhouse Gas Emissions, and/or Waste Generation.· Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experiencePreferred Requirements· Previous Experience: Environmental Reporting, Standard Operating Procedure Drafting,· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies/Sciences, Engineering, Public Policy/Political Science, Financial Analysis, or other relevant field.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities· Ability to work independently as a self-starter as well as multi-task with various components of a multifaceted project.· Ability to collaborate, work with others in a fast-paced environment required· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with the executive team as well as all levels of the organization as required· Excellent data analytical skills required· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required – PowerBI preferred.· [Preferred] Working knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks: GRI (Global Reporting Initiative)/ SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) / TCFD (Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures) or similar.· [Preferred] Working knowledge of environmental- or sustainability-related, State and Federal Regulatory frameworksThe target hiring compensation range for this role is $40-50/hr.
