Job Summary:

The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading the company's sales and marketing efforts. This role requires a dynamic individual who can develop and execute strategies to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to manage all aspects of sales and marketing independently, from planning and execution to analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

Create and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals, focusing on driving revenue and increasing market presence.

Market Research:

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, using insights to shape sales and marketing tactics.

Sales Execution:

Manage the entire sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, client meetings, negotiations, RFP preparation, and closing deals. Work with the Finance department to develop pricing strategies and the Operations Department to manage client relationships to ensure long-term success.

Marketing Campaigns:

Design, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media) to build brand awareness and attract new customers.

Content Creation:

Develop content for marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, website copy, email campaigns, and social media posts, ensuring consistent brand messaging.

Budget Management:

Oversee the sales and marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources to maximize ROI.

Reporting and Analytics:

Track and analyze the performance of sales and marketing activities, providing regular updates and insights to the executive team. Use data to refine strategies and optimize results.

Brand Management:

Maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity, ensuring all external communications align with brand guidelines.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, such as Finance, Operations, and Human Resources, to ensure that sales and marketing initiatives are well-coordinated and effectively implemented.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. This position requires the ability to occasionally walk facilities to understand client’s needs.

Position/Expected Work Hours:

This is a salary exempt full-time position; days and hours of work vary based on workload but traditionally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a relationship position that requires this person to meet with prospective clients, which may include some client entertainment. Work location depends on prospective projects which can include remote days.

Travel:

This position will include some travel outside the local area and overnight.
