YesAbout the Department:University Life Project & Process Management provides project and process management support, guidance, and training to the Division of University Life. We seek to continuously improve the student and staff experience through a journey management approach.About the Position:Reporting to the Director of University Life Project & Process Management (UL PPM), the User Experience Manager engages with users to confirm their needs, preferences, and behaviors for prioritized journeys. Directs the UL PPM's User Experience (UX) Research Team, conducts qualitative user research, and provides support to the UL PPM team with redesign efforts.Responsibilities:Qualitative User Experience (UX) Research

Leads the planning, execution and analysis of qualitative user experience (UX) research initiatives;Supports the Director of UL PPM with the creation of the annual UX research plan;Builds relationships with student engagement units and advocacy groups;Develops comprehensive user research plans;Engages in proactive outreach and recruitment efforts;Manages communication with volunteers;Designs study protocols;Conducts in-depth analysis of qualitative UX research data;Presents research findings to internal stakeholders;Establishes and maintains a centralized UX dashboard.User Experience (UX) Research Team Management

Supervises and manages UL PPM's UX Research Team;Develops and implements training programs;Conducts regular reviews of UX outputs;Provides ongoing coaching and mentorship;Conducts bi-monthly reviews of standard operating procedures;Utilizes project management platforms;Organizes and facilitates weekly well-being sessions.Process Redesign Support

Collaborates with the UL PPM team to streamline processes;Assists with actionable opportunity prioritization;Facilitates requirements gathering and user testing.User Experience (UX) Research Training

Supports UL PPM Team with providing training on UX best practices;Assists in developing an annual training plan;Contributes to the creation of UX training materials;Collaborates in leading UX training sessions.Required Qualifications:Master's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience;Demonstrated experience in effective communication;Experience with gathering user insights;Experience writing and presenting user research reports;Experience working in cross-functional teams;Ability to communicate complex information;Ability to oversee multiple projects;Willingness to learn/adapt efficiently;Ability to work with a diverse population.Preferred Qualifications:2 years of professional experience in higher education;Demonstrated leadership abilities;Experience with training and mentoring students;Knowledge of UX methods;UX Certificate.Instructions to Applicants:For full consideration, applicants must apply for
