The Opportunity:As a Technical Writer and Editor, you know that every program relies on well-written documentation to work. We need your skills to help understand and communicate system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.We have an opportunity for you to join our team as we develop cyber infrastructure capabilities. As a Technical Writer and Editor on our team, you'll plan and prepare the technical data for major publication projects, analyze requirements, develop source material, consult engineering and technical staff, and work with editors and illustrators in preparing a draft. You will provide guidance and direction in the areas of quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style, and ensure adherence to specifications.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:5+ years of experience with engineering technical writingKnowledge of multiple writing style guides and requirements using Microsoft Office product suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelAbility to perform reviews and assure the quality of all written deliverables in support of a wide range of customer requirementsAbility to ensure the production of clear documents that guide and educate the readerAbility to apply expertise of client delivery process, tradecraft, and intelligence standardsAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsBachelor's degreeNice If You Have:Experience recommending and developing a variety of technical documentation based on client needsAbility to communicate technical information to non-technical audiencesVetting:

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
