This role involves working closely with city leadership and the governing body to ensure clear, consistent verbal and written communication with internal and external audiences.Key Responsibilities:Brand managementStrategic communication to support city initiativesMedia relationsPublic engagementContent creationInnovative outreachThe ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and have a keen eye for detail. The candidate should be collaborative, professional, and ethical with strong listening skills, skilled in writing and verbal communication, and have experience in social media and crisis communication. A degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience are required. Compensation is DoQ.Application deadline is September 20, 2024.
