It’s crucial that as a collective, our employees, volunteers and the general public have all the tools they need to safely and effectively manage emergency events.About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and motivated communications professional to join our Strategic and Internal Communications branch.In this role you will develop, deliver and advise on strategic and internal communications projects that enhance the way DFES connects, engages and communicates with internal and external stakeholders.You’ll have a proven track record in contributing to the development of communication plans, and hands on experience implementing strategies and evaluating them.You’re a creative yet pragmatic operator who will deliver on branch priorities and be adaptable to pivot as communications opportunities or issues arise.You will be responsible for producing engaging tailored content across a range of communication channels for corporate matters of strategic significance as well as giving advice, support and direction to support our stakeholders to develop their own communications.You will have great interpersonal skills to build rapport with our stakeholders and be proactive and results driven.
