Job Description:

The

Director of Marketing

will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives for launching our world-class hospitality venue. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the hospitality and nightlife industries and a proven track record of success in driving attendance and revenue through innovative marketing strategies, integrated campaigns, and programming.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic marketing plan to successfully launch brand in new market.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create compelling promotional campaigns, events, and activations that resonate with target audiences.

Manage advertising budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.

Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including digital content, print collateral, and social media assets.

Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Manage third-party agency relationships, develop and oversee scope of work, hold regular meetings to continually update expectations and oversee deliverables.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including artists, promoters, vendors, and media partners.

Responsible for the curation of effective content, managing social media calendars, aligning efforts across all existing platforms with current promotional efforts while maintaining brand standards.

Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and tactics.

Identify peak traffic periods and create comprehensive strategies aimed at aggressively pursuing revenue goals.

Oversee e-commerce opportunities, build offerings ranging from ticketed events to pre-booking social groups utilizing online platforms for inbound sales and direct marketing tools for outbound sales.

Support Director of Sales in achieving corporate and group booking financial targets through the creation of sales collateral, support the development of an incoming lead funnel, and managing digital presence on internal and external platforms.

Serve as representative of the company’s marketing department on the venue leadership team.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or relevant field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisor/manager role.

Minimum 5 years’ nightlife and hospitality marketing experience.

At least 21 years of age.

Ability to think critically and strategically, aligning marketing efforts with overall business goals and objectives to drive long-term success.

A strong understanding of brand development and management, with the skills to maintain brand consistency, integrity, and resonance in the highly competitive nightlife market.

Understanding of the nightlife and hospitality industries, staying abreast of current trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to stay ahead in the market.

Creativity and innovation in developing unique marketing campaigns and experiences that differentiate the venue from competitors and captivate the target audience.

Proficiency in planning and executing high-impact events, understanding the nuances of the nightlife and hospitality industries and leveraging events to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, online advertising, and the ability to leverage these platforms effectively to reach and engage target audiences.

Competency in utilizing data analytics tools to measure marketing campaign performance, analyze customer behavior, and make informed decisions to optimize marketing strategies.

The ability to establish and manage strategic partnerships with influencers, artists, and brands, enhancing the overall appeal and reach of nightlife offerings.

Strong financial acumen to develop and manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.

Strong understanding of the Nashville nightlife scene and trends.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and analytics.

Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize and implement innovative marketing campaigns.

Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of print and print production processes.

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
