We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced working environment and can manage frequent changes in priorities with ease. You will develop an in-depth understanding of Univision’s media platforms to help drive the strategy and operations of the team. The ideal candidate is passionate and has a curiosity for content platforms and is abreast of the general entertainment & competitive media landscape.As a Media Planner, you will contribute to the overall performance of the network by creating and implementing strategic marketing plans to reach our US Hispanic audience. You will be an active contributor indaily marketing campaign coordination and effective log completion.YOUR DAY-DAY:

(aka Responsibilities)Work with management to develop and execute strategy for secondary events campaignsResponsible for advanced planning in a quarterly and weekly basis as well as daily optimization for air. Ensure that optimized inventory is meeting goals against benchmarks (GRPs, reach & frequency, priority levels) to ensure strategies are implemented and overall network vision is achievedEffective communication with Programming, Production, Agency, Traffic, Art Department as well as other internal partners to ensure smooth daily operations including asset delivery, scheduling, work orders, post campaign reporting, etc.Responsible for creating in-program media strategy, rendering and QC of secondary elements (snipes, bugs, hashtags, squeeze backs, QR codes, etc..)Scheduling of all secondary events based on programming priorities, audience navigation as well as, industry best practices and research insightsWork closely with Producers & Graphics & Art Department to provide strategic objectives for creation of secondary elementsTroubleshooting technical issues with Master Control and Engineering departmentsCoordinate in-game mentions and other promotional opportunities with Sports Marketing TeamKeep abreast of all campaign status, programming changes, and marketing calendarContribute to weekly team meetings with Agency where campaign priorities and strategies are discussedTake part of 360 team meetings where ideation and brainstorming take place for upcoming premieresAnalyze ratings and competitive landscape to boost strategiesReview weekly priorities for all nets with ManagementBring fresh ideas and creative energy to each projectYOU HAVE:

(aka Qualifications)Bachelor’s Degree2+ years’ experience in media, marketing, advertising, programming, or promotions with knowledge of US Hispanic market.Understand the changing media landscape and consumer behavior.Knowledge in marketing campaign management: planning, executing and measurementMust have analytical skill set, comprehension of media metrics, Nielsen and/or Ibope ratings system, Grip It! Optimizer ToolKnowledge of broadcast graphics playout system (i.e Miranda Grass Valley, Pixel Power)Knowledge of WideOrbit Traffic scheduling systems a plusFlexible and able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.Has a working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook software as well as excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with production and/or traffic environment a plusWillingness to work overtime, on call, and on weekends with short notice (as needed ie. accelerated schedules, hurricane season or staff coverage)Must be willing to work in MiamiFluent in English and SpanishUnivision is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
