Associate Designer

Contemporary lifestyle brand (Loungewear) looking for a Women's Designer with a minimum of 3-5 years design experience. We are seeking a dedicated professional who works well in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, is detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter with strong multi-tasking capabilities.Job Functions:• Responsible for working with the Creative Director to design and develop the mainline as well as private label accounts.• Responsible for all CADS, technical sketches and development packages, development approvals from initial design to production.• Ability to identify trends, new fabrications, and merchandise groups that apply to our specified customer.• Involvement in fittings with a strong knowledge of construction, fit and fabrications (both knit & woven).• Must be able to create and manipulate simple prints and texture fills in Illustrator.• Strong graphic design skills a plus.• Able to work with the sales team and manage account needs.• Must have strong communication skills and a positive team building attitude.Job Requirements:• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc) and PLM (WFX) experience a +• Clear understanding of apparel design and garment construction• Able to multi-task and prioritize workload• Strong attention to detail and an eye for new trends and color.• Ability to work as a team player and take direction• 3-5 + Years of design experience• AA or BA in a fashion related Design Degree
