As the Lead Enhanced Communication Gateway Systems (ECGS) SME, you will be a key member of the Empower AI team providing support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Service Provider (JSP) on the Platform Services contract. JSP operates and defends the Department of Defense's (DOD) key cyber terrain and provides information technology (IT) services to Pentagon and National Capital Region (NCR) customers.Highlights of Responsibilities:Provide technical expertise in the architecture, deployment, and sustainment of large scale, clustered Northrop Grumman Enhanced Communication Gateway Systems.Perform operations and system administration tasks for the large and small scale ECGS systems.Administer the ECGS/Mailroom Profile libraries and Message Center folders.Monitor both the National Gateway Large ECGS and all small ECGSs supporting OM and email interfaces.Identify, analyze, and resolve problems of all configured ECGS serial circuit communication ports.Monitor local and remote distributed applications, host Windows Operating Systems, and network connections.Continuously staff the National Gateway service operator positions.Support provisioning and testing of new point-to-point and dial-in STE connections to the ECGS systems.Provide support to the DISA functional teams for accreditation testing of ECGS hardware and/or application updates.Perform cryptographic Key Management Center updates.Provide reports detailing message volume by port.Monitor all service queues, manually processing all intercepted messages.Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems, and 2 - 7 recent years of documented experience relevant to this key position.Information Assurance (IA) Certification: DoDI 8570 IAT II certification.Computing Environment (CE) Certification: Recent and relevant technical certification.Top Secret security clearance.Demonstrated direct experience with clustered ECGS.Demonstrated experience in computer system engineering, hardware and software analysis, system installation, integration, implementation, and system maintenance.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Minimum three years of experience in computer related areas.Demonstrated knowledge of a range of current information technologies.3 years' experience securing Operating Systems to comply with DISA STIGs.Experience configuring security policies to protect system applications.Experience analyzing ongoing changes published in HBSS specific STIGs.Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with management.Preferred Qualifications:ITILv4 certificationPhysical Requirements:Sitting for long periodsStanding for long periodsAmbulate throughout an officeAmbulate between several buildingsStoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as requiredTravel by land or air transportation 25% or lessAbout Empower AI
