This is an on-site role with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.Cover Letter/Resume:

These can be uploaded on the application under CV/Resume.QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Three years of communications and/or marketing experience.Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to present information clearly and concisely.Effective news writing and editing skills.Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation skills using Associated Press style.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or related field.Work experience in a college/university and/or health care setting.Experience with content management and social/digital publishing systems (e.g. WordPress and social media for organizations/ corporations).Experience creating and meeting publication deadlines.Experience with special event planning.Hands-on experience with WordPress and web publishing, social media and posting content and photos; familiarity with design.Strong understanding of interplay between publications and social media outlets.Essential Duties/TasksContent CoordinationPlan, coordinate and produce content for Texas A&M College of Dentistry's online news site, working with Publications Manager and web communications team.Coordinate bi-weekly distribution of content via email to core audiences.Use analytics to track reader engagement and drive content strategy.
