Reporting to and working in close collaboration with VP, Campaigns, the Director of Digital Communications is responsible for developing a digital and multimedia strategy to support fundraising and alumni relations. Specifically, the incubement will oversee: developing, managing, maintaining and analyzing content for advancement websites, video production, online communications vehicles, social media, and other multimedia across all campuses. They also oversee the overall user experience, digital content development, online strategies, and development of key performance indicators. The Director supervises an associate director, two assistant directors, and several outside vendors. They serve as the OIA liaison with the central Interactive Marketing division and ISamp;T only as it relates to website, web development, and video production.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Develops and implements digital strategy to support the Office of Institutional Advancement and Alumni RelationsDevelops and implements multimedia content to support the Office of Institutional Advancement and Alumni RelationsDevelops and implements all OIA websites including sites for events, fundraising initiatives, proposals, cases for support, alumni, community fundraising, annual giving and planned giving.Organize video schedule and pitch original ideas for project development within theOversees the creation of a campaign website.Manages OIA websites and online communications for all partner organizations.Supervises alumni and clinical electronic newsletters.Serves as liaison with online giving form vendor.Responsible for the overall user experience across all OIA digital outreach.Coordinates the development and implementation of online multimedia content, programs and services.Coordinates the implementation of online communications.Tracks and analyzes online metrics to improve websites and online communications.Partners with internal and external content managers, editors, writers, designers, video producters, developers, and other Jefferson staff, particularly Interactive Marketing, to ensure sites meet both client and Jefferson needs, align with the brand strategy platform, and meet Jefferson Web standards.Excellent web/digital media project management.Fluent in development optimization techniques to deliver the best user experiences in the most technically efficient manner.Guided by Jeffersonrsquo;s mission, organizational culture, values, and vision for the future, provide inspirational fundraising leadership through teamwork, collaboration, and loyalty.Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Bachelorrsquo;s degree required, advanced study or additional degree in a related field is helpful._________________________________________________________________________EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years direct experience implementing web communications strategiesExpertise in managing the production process and producing high-quality videosStrong user understanding and demonstrated expertise in web content, usability, architecture, development and design.Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, HTML/CSSExperience with animation, digital photography, and email marketing are a plusKnowledge of the following:HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, mySQL, javascriptAdobe Creative Cloud suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesignPreferred - XML, AJAX, RSS, PHP, ASP, SQLserver,Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plusExperience with Salesforce, Adobe Campaign Manager or other automated marketing software platformFamiliar with industry trends and standards.________________________________________________________________________ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Ability to collaborate with colleagues, staff and faculty within a highly-complex, academic environment.Excellent listening skills.Command of multi-media strategies, tactics, and resources: a track record of implementing effective communications in a variety of print and digital media.Collaborative approach to problem solving.Experience with database software systems and Microsoft Office.Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University.
