Pharmaceutical Package Designer [75810]

Onward Search is seeking a talented and experienced Pharmaceutical Packaging Designer. This is a remote (EST preferred), freelance opportunity. 10+ hours a week, on-going. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing packaging solutions for our pharmaceutical products.Key Responsibilities:Design and Development:Create and develop packaging concepts for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (FDA, EMA, etc.).Design packaging that enhances product protection, stability, and safety during transportation, storage, and handling.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and quality assurance to ensure packaging meets all functional and aesthetic requirements.Develop prototypes and conduct testing to assess the performance and functionality of packaging designs.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all packaging designs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards for pharmaceutical packaging.Stay updated on the latest packaging regulations, materials, and technologies to ensure compliance and innovation.Material Selection:Evaluate and select appropriate packaging materials that provide adequate protection for pharmaceutical products.Work closely with suppliers to source and test packaging materials that meet company and regulatory standards.Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in packaging design, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.Proven experience in developing packaging that meets regulatory requirements.Skills:Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), CAD software, and 3D modeling tools.Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and regulations specific to the pharmaceutical industry.Must apply by Sept 9th
