The Director of Marketing & Community Engagement will play a critical role in shaping the public image of HRCI/HRSI by driving and executing on marketing strategies and fostering community relationships. This role will help showcase the organization’s influence in the development of modern HR practices and will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team in providing industry insights and HRCI research data for use in public forums. Promote HRCI as a thought leader and key contributor to HR innovation and best practices through digital and in-person events, while working to align the HRCI and HRSI brands.

Brand Alignment:

Lead efforts to align the HRCI/HRSI brands and new product lines, ensuring a cohesive and unified brand/product messaging.Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote brands and products.Executive Support:

Develop and deliver compelling speeches, presentations, and reports for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) for use at events and conferences.In coordination with Director of Research and Market Insights, provide the ELT with key data, survey results, and information to support strategic decision-making.Work collaboratively with the HRCI leadership team achieve the organizational and sales goals and objectives in support of the organization’s strategic plan.Community Engagement:

Build outreach programs to connect with the HR community that currently does not have a tie with HRCI, emphasizing the benefits and values of HRCI certifications and resources.Foster strong relationships with industry stakeholders, partners, and the broader HR community.Develop and implement community engagement initiatives to enhance brand loyalty and community participation.Event Management:

Plan, organize, and execute company events, including conference presence and participation, and community outreach programs.Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.Collaborate with other functional leaders on marketing and event opportunities that promote and enhance visibility to current and future HRCI products and services.International:

Develop and implement strategies to grow HRCI/HRSI's international presence and engagement.Identify and pursue opportunities for global partnerships and collaborations.The Skills You Need to Succeed:

Bachelor’s Degree, required8+ years of relevant marketing experience, requiredDemonstrated experience in the areas of supporting senior leadership, increasing brand presence, and product marketing, requiredDemonstrated experience working with project management tools (e.g., Asana), required2+ years of supervisory experience, requiredExperience and/or familiarity with the HR industry, highly desirableExperience marketing virtual events, highly desirableExperience using marketing automation software (e.g., HubSpot), desirableExperience in certification, learning or credentialing, desirable
