As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Web Developer to join our team, and support NOAA for a 5 year contract.
Responsibilities
The Web Developer selected should have the following experience:
Perform website design and creation. Plans, designs, develops, tests, edits, maintains, and documents look and flow of Intranet websites.
Interview clients to clarify requirements for establishing new or upgrading existing websites
Coordinate design of digitized images, banners, bullets, charts, image maps and other graphics to enhance appearance of site
Build and optimize a secure web infrastructure for evolving business needs
Develop code and script applications to collect data and display webpage information. Evaluate written code to ensure it meets NOAA standards and is compatible with all devices
Provide continued support for operational web properties. Communicate with CNSD staff concerning the need for content updates and design refresh
Perform routine site audits to determine website use. Test websites and identify any technical problems
Administer all software needed for website development and maintenance
Implement and administer a service ticketing software application
Develop and manage the CNSD Chargeback Information Reporting Application
Develop and administer the CNSD service request and ticketing application 9
Assist with the design and coding of other software products to meet CNSD information requirements
Qualifications
The Ideal Web Developer will have the following:
2+ years of Web Development experience.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar degree.
Experience supporting 1 or more end clients is a BIG PLUS!
