Summary:Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Digital Marketing Associate to join our growing in-house digital marketing team. This role is instrumental in supporting the overall digital marketing strategy through data analysis, reporting, and vendor management. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses strong organizational skills.
Essential Functions:
Assist the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics in pulling and organizing data from various sources.Learn to utilize data analysis tools to generate regular and ad-hoc reports and insights as needed.Use analytics tools to track, report, and analyze website performance, customer and visitor behavioral trends for customer success.Highlight observations and business context to deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders, beyond basic reporting.Stay apprised of industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to drive ongoing improvements to available analytics.Manage relationships with various external vendors and partners involved in digital marketing campaigns.Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and budgets with internal and external partners.Provide general administrative support to the digital marketing team.Competencies:
Interest in marketing and data analysisProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to access, manipulate, analyze, trend and interpret dataAttention to detail and accuracyGreat organizational, written communication and presentation skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRequired or Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree1+ years of marketing or related professional experienceExperience with Adobe analytics or Google Analytics preferredPrevious experience in a retail business or ecommerce preferred
