The Imagine team is a growing company, and we are inviting an innovative Instructional Designer to join our team! The Instructional Designer will develop training and materials to support the implementation team and their projects. Our Instructional Designer is a key role that will ensure our clients receive the educational tools and training needed to successfully implement our solutions!

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys managing external vendor partnerships and creating training programs targeted to the adult learner for a variety of audiences. Essential DutiesDevelop comprehensive training materials and programs to support the implementation process and ongoing effectiveness of our client's implementation.Learn relevant product knowledge for new and existing products.Partner with subject matter experts, writing and maintaining content and designing engaging training materials, including presentations, facilitator guides, participant materials, work instructions, knowledge checks, and online courses.Standardize training materials across all product lines.Create assessment tools to measure learning, knowledge retention, and performance and make necessary adjustments.Seek training evaluation and feedback to continuously improve training programs and material.Continuously anticipate, develop, implement, and communicate ways to improve the process and overall experience.Continually learn and implement best practices for adult learning through online research, conference attendance, and other means of staying on top of the learning industry.Continually enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.Work closely with relevant teams to understand new product functionality and incorporate new client training needs.Define and document learning objectives.Develop internal training materials as requested.Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Needed

Bachelor's degree in related field and 3+ years' experience in a corporate training environment

Qualifications You Must HaveMastery level knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applicationsComprehensive knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principlesAbility to work well with clients and employees across all departmentsPositively represent the company internally and externallyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with little to no directionStrong presentation skillsProfessional and confident demeanorExcellent oral and written communication skillsHighly motivated to grasp complex software and learn technical material quicklyExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to work independently to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects

Work Environment

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Travel will be required up to 50% of the time in year 1, decreasing to approximately 20% in subsequent years.
