ABOUT THE POSITION

Seattle Rep is seeking a resourceful and highly talented Video Producer to join the Marketing team.

Typical Duties Include:

Manage Video Production ProjectsOversee video production projects and support the entire creative process from pre-production to final delivery; provide expertise, advice, guidance, and alignment with brand guidelines throughout the processServe as the primary contact between departments on video production needs; communicate upward and across Seattle Rep project teams - including project status reports, schedule changes, justifications for variances, and technical informationSecure rentals for production shoots and hire freelance production crews; organize crew assignments?Set schedules in coordination with Artistic and Production (or other depts), and manage related contracts, waivers, invoices, and releases

Video Content CreationCarry out company-wide video needs, including filming and post-production editingOrganize project assets and assist with management of files upon completion of projects

Oversee Video Production TeamsContract, hire, and assign freelance production crew for multi-camera shootsOrganize crew assignments and oversee day of shoots for productions and eventsEnsure production stays on schedule; track project progress and escalate concerns if neededOversee all post-production video processes ensuring overall brand consistency and alignment with specific project goals

Budget ManagementCreate and track actuals of project budgetsTrack invoices against contracts and submit for paymentWork with Senior Creative Director to reconcile budgets with Finance each month to maintain fiscal integrity

Support Department and Company-wide effortsParticipate in brainstorming sessions as needed within scope of workAdd constructively to the collaborative and collegial health of the organizationAdd actively and constructively to the EDI (equity, diversity & inclusion) work of the organization, including attending all-company trainingsEngage with and strive to embody Seattle Rep's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of work

Minimum Qualifications:Commitment to cultivating an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace via decisive action including consistently seeking out opportunities for self and community improvement in the areas of racial equity, accessibility, gender inclusivity, and cultural sensitivity.3-5 years of demonstrated video production experiencePortfolio demonstrating experience with multi-camera shoots and narrative projectsDemonstrated efficiency with video and audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro/Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro.Experience with a variety of cameras and equipment, including DSLR, switchers, and lighting setups.Thorough knowledge of Mac and Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong project management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsKeen attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyAbility to organize work and set appropriate prioritiesAbility to meet deadlines under pressure
